Do you know how to operate a fire extinguisher properly? What does P.A.S.S. stand for? Fire extinguisher training is one of the most important aspects of any safety training program.
Length of Course: 4 hours
Certification
- Valid for 3 years
Many companies require their employees to discharge a fire extinguisher as part of their hazardous materials training. In this half-day course, you will learn all about fires, how they start and what kind of fire extinguisher you can use for different types of fires. Your safety training will also include operation of a fire extinguisher as you’re faced with a real live fire, under controlled conditions of course. A competency exam is required for certification. This course can be completed on-site or at our facility.
Once you complete the fire extinguisher training course you will appreciate the fact that you can apply what you have learned at home. Every home should have a fire extinguisher near and entrance/exit. Make sure you have the correct fire extinguisher for the kinds of fires that could start at home and workplace.
